Letting my hair grow for 6 months

Hey all! Laying down the last pieces of my floor, I suddenly remembered: I haven't written a blog post in a month again. Shame, shame. That was the 10th of October. It's the 29th now, what happened?! Time went by so fast. I moved out, into my very own appartment, on Saturday the 15th. Living on my own feels natural and weird at the same time. It has cost me a lot of time and energy over the last weeks. I also have a test week next week, so I am quite a bit stressed this week. Anyway, enough about my situation, more about my hair. Since my beard does not look that great, I decided to use some product in it, so I've tried different things: pomade, wax, gel, but not everything works great, but I found one we had lying around that works wonderful, but of course, that one still lies at my parents' house, so I have to make-do for now. And, I actually used hair gel in my head hair last week, which I haven't done in years, because I basically always disliked ...

Hello dear readers, It's been a while, 4 weeks, whoops. Well, I've been busy; school has just started, and I've got a lot of work, since I started a job just over a month ago. I started working at a climbing park, with high rope routes between the trees. I also started as a tutor, got hired last weekend. And last, but certainly not least: I will be moving out, into my very own appartment, later this month. All in all, it is a very exciting and very nervous time for me. It all takes so much thought and energy, that I forget the smallest and simplest things, like writing on this blog. I even started writing this post 5 days ago (!). And I also forgot to make some pictures, but I'm sure you can fill in the gaps. No donations have come in for a while, so we are still at €76,96 I have updated the Google Photos Album, so be sure to drop by and give it a look. Dear readers, I am back home from holidays now; after having the camping trip, I went to Sweden for a week. But, now other stuff gets my attention: work, preparing for school, looking for a house, and then the normal everyday stuff. So, I will write blog posts more often. (I was about to write "I will try to..." but the words of Yoda echoed through my mind " Do or do not, there is no try ") And, I have made my life, and possibly yours, a bit easier, by making a Google Photos album with all the selfies for this blog in there, sorted newest first. Dear readers, It's been a while. I was camping last Monday through Friday, and I will be gone again for a week now. So, this'll be a short update, and then I'll write again when I'm back. Speaking of short, my hair length: I measureds (or at least tried to) my hair, and it is about 15mm long now. For, and I quote Matt Parker "backwards people who don't use the metric system", that is about 5/8th of an inch. I hope all of you enjoy your holidays, I know I do. Also, you can clearly see the days I was out camping, had no mirror. As I posted the pictures, I noticed the difference in hair length. Dear readers, I am not good in this "at least once a week" thing... So, holidays, the time of the year you think you'll have a lot of free time, yet suddenly you have less time than normal. I have vacation planned for the next 3 weeks, and for now I have a lot to do and more I want to  do. I am getting used to the way my hair looks now, and it actually feels nice now. The mustache, on the other hand, semes like I should shave, but that's normal in the growing process. Well, not much more I can think of to write, so I'll just post the pictures. And I just noticed I forgot to take a picture 11th of July :( Also, I have no clue why the pictures won't line up, but it is bugging me slightly. Dear readers, I promised a blog post at lesat once a week and it's been 9 days. I am very sorry. I thought to write it Thursday, but ran out of time, and I had a very busy weekend. But, here I am again, with a new blog post and some great news! The donations have passed €75 already! I have had some friends donating, and some teachers, as I spoke about it at my certificate ceremony. He is also the photographer on the zoo, and he just happened to be there when I finished my shift. I wanted to get a selfie with a lemur for my blog, so he helped me. Dear readers, This morning I have shaved off my hair, as I said I would. It's been 12 hours now, and I haven't gotten used to the feeling (cold, stubby) and the looks of it. When I saw my reflection, I had to look twice. Besides, bald doesn't suit me, which I already knew... And as promised, picture evidence: Below you can see me before shaving, after shaving my hair, and after shaving my beard as well. The piucture of the hair is all the hair I shaved off, it was quite a lot, but the beard not so much :( I had a busy saturday, and everybody I knew who spoke me asked why my hair looked "like that" So, of course, I shared the story.
