My plan for charity

Dear readers,

First of all: Welcome to my blog.

Tomorrow is the big day, the 1st of July.
I will shave of all my head hair and all my facial hair, and then let it grow for 6 months.
At first it felt like a long time, but it will only be until 1st of January 2018.

I will take a picture everyday to show my hair growth, and of course before and after shaving.

Tomorrow I will post the first update, and I will try to write something here at least once a week.

By shaving my hair I aim to gather money for the World Cancer Research Foundation International (the WCRF). All proceeds from this campaign, as well as ad revenue from this blog and any shortened links I used, will go to the WCRF.

Quick summary
Shave all my head and facial hair off on 1 July 2017, let it grow until 1 January 2018
Then, I will check if my hair is long enough for donation. It has to be 15cm.
I will take a picture every day, and also pictures of before and after shaving.
I will try to write a blog post at least once in my week.

Day 44 of 184: 13th of August 2017: Holidays are still hard

Dear readers, I am back home from holidays now; after having the camping trip, I went to Sweden for a week. But, now other stuff gets my attention: work, preparing for school, looking for a house, and then the normal everyday stuff. So, I will write blog posts more often. (I was about to write "I will try to..." but the words of Yoda echoed through my mind " Do or do not, there is no try ") And, I have made my life, and possibly yours, a bit easier, by making a Google Photos album with all the selfies for this blog in there, sorted newest first. 7 January 2018: Holiday tiredness ensues

Hey all, I'm very sorry, I haven't gotten around to finishing everything up yet. I am way, way more tired than I thought, from new year's eve, and a hectic week before and after. Day 32 of 184: 1st of August 2017: I went camping, and my hair is growing nicely

Dear readers, It's been a while. I was camping last Monday through Friday, and I will be gone again for a week now. So, this'll be a short update, and then I'll write again when I'm back. Speaking of short, my hair length: I measureds (or at least tried to) my hair, and it is about 15mm long now. For, and I quote Matt Parker "backwards people who don't use the metric system", that is about 5/8th of an inch. I hope all of you enjoy your holidays, I know I do. From Russia, with great affection :P Dimitri P.S. I am not actually Russian, not even remotely I'll add the pics, and leave it at this for now I added an extra one from the 19th of July, since I had a pic from in the ferris wheel, as I was on a carnival. Also, you can clearly see the days I was out camping, had no mirror. As I posted the pictures, I noticed the difference in hair length. Funny, how 10 days of hair growth, which would be about 5 mm, is so visible. 19th Jul...
